Space between paragraphs in Word

Page history last edited by Kathleen Culver 15 years, 5 months ago

In the new MS Word, it automatically puts a space between my paragraphs. How do I get rid of that?

It's using the Paragraph formatting to do this. If you just want to change it in one document:
- select all text
- choose format/paragraph
- change space after from 10 pt to 0 pt
If you want to change it so it never does it in any documents:
- go to format/style
- choose the normal style
- choose modify
- in scroll bar at bottom left, change from format to paragraph
- set space after to 0 pt from 10 pt

you can go to the "paragraph" menu, and select the box next to "don't add space between paragraphs of the same style"
