If students use the soundslides demo to create their slideshows, what do they have to do to export the final version? In other words, can the entire project be made in the demo and then opened and exported in the full version?
Yes, the entire thing can be done and saved in the demo version. Then they come to any computer with a licensed version, open the project, save and export. It will remove all the demo tags.
Oh good grief. They just released a new version last week, so it changed. Go to http://www.soundslides.com/ and download the one marked as the previous version (for some reason, it still says released Oct. 29). Anyway, download it, move it to your apps folder (or the equivalent on a PC) and launch it. It will ask for a registration key. Click "later" instead. Then you can do everything as normal, save it and bring it in to be opened an resaved on our licensed version.
If you have a mere $40, I encourage you to buy it. It's well worth it in the long run.

J202 students who wish to be added as authors should e-mail me. Others not registered for the class are welcome to use the entries in this knowledge base but may not submit questions here or via e-mail. Thanks!
